What is the “Porovnu” app?

Porovnu on RuStore is a Russian Android app from an independent developer that splits a cafe or restaurant bill: one person enters who ordered what and who paid, and the app computes who owes whom with the minimal number of transfers. It splits equally or by items, handles unequal shares, tips, service charge and discounts, is precise to the kopeck, and stores past bills. It works fully offline with no registration — all data stays on the phone. It's free.

The catch: it's an offline calculator on a single phone — whoever entered everything does the splitting. Participants don't join from their own devices or see the result live, it's Android-only, and it's still new (version 1.0). If your group has iPhones or you want everyone to add expenses via a link, a web service is handier. For a one-off cafe split on your own phone, Porovnu does the job.
