All four big Russian banks let you create a collection and send one link to the group chat. They differ in who can pay and where the money goes.
The four banks compared
| Bank | Where in the app | Who can pay |
|---|---|---|
| T-Bank | Showcase → All services → Collect money | Any bank, via link or QR |
| VTB | Payments → Transfer → Money collection | Cards of any Russian bank |
| Sber | Inside Dialogues | Sber customers (per descriptions of the service) |
| Alfa-Bank | The “Sobiralka” service in the app | Check in the app |
Menu paths change with app updates. If a step is missing, search the app for «collection».
What a bank collection does not do
It answers «what came in». The chat asks three other things: who has not paid, how much has been spent and what is left. In DeliBabki contributions and purchases live in one group, the balance is computed for you and the history exports to Excel. DeliBabki does not process payments — the money still goes through your bank.
Frequently asked questions
How do you create a collection in T-Bank?
In the app: Showcase → All services → Collect money, pick a category, optionally set a target and tap Create. On the website: Payments → Actions → Request money → Public collection. The bank opens a separate savings account and gives you a link and a QR code that customers of any bank can pay through.
How do you create a collection in VTB?
In VTB Online: Payments → Transfer → Money collection. Enter a name, an end date, the amount per person and optionally a total, then share the link. Cards of any Russian bank can pay, and the organiser sees who sent what.
And in Sber?
In SberBank Online a collection lives inside the Dialogues chat: create a shared collection, set the goal and amount, and invite participants. According to descriptions of the service, only Sber customers with the app can contribute, and the money lands on the organiser’s card.
Does the organiser see who paid?
Yes — that is the main advantage over a plain card transfer. But a bank only shows incoming payments: what has been bought, what is left and who paid less are still on the organiser.
Collected, spent, left
